Getting there: Tirana airport and the coast
Tirana International Airport, the bus and taxi into the city, and how the two homes relate to that journey.
Tirana International Airport
Tirana International Airport, Nënë Tereza (TIA, at Rinas), is 17 km north-west of the city centre. A taxi is about 20–25 minutes. The airport bus runs every hour, day and night.
Those times are for the centre, not for a specific door on Bulevardi Zogu I. The boulevard starts at Skanderbeg Square, in the centre, and runs north.
The city apartment
Once you are at Skanderbeg Square you are at the start of Bulevardi Zogu I. The apartment’s building number is not published on this site, so ask the booking platform for the entrance after you reserve.
Tale, on the coast
Tale is in Lezhë County, a short walk from its own beach. Lezhë and Shëngjin are a short drive from the apartment. This guide does not quote a road time from the airport to Tale, because that journey was not measured in our notes. Durrës, west of Tirana, is about 39 minutes by road from the city and is the day trip mentioned for the Tirana stay.
