Questions

How do I book?

On Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia or Vrbo. This website does not take reservations or payment. Tale is on Airbnb. The other platform buttons stay on the page and say coming soon until a link is added.

Where are the homes?

Tale Apartment is in Tale, Lezhë County, a short walk from the beach. Boulevard Apartment is on Bulevardi Zogu I in Tirana. The Tirana building number is not published on this site yet.

Who looks after the houses?

Iona is the host.

Do you show prices?

No. Prices and availability are shown on each booking platform, because they change with the dates.

Are the Tirana photos of the apartment?

No. They are illustrative. Interiors are stock images. The outdoor photographs are of Tirana. Tale’s photographs are of that apartment and its complex.

How do I arrive?

Most visitors land at Tirana International Airport Nënë Tereza (TIA), at Rinas, northwest of the city.

A published figure puts the airport about 11 km from Tirana. Taxis and a bus serve the city; check the timetable that day. Tale is on the coast in Lezhë County. This site does not quote a drive time from the airport to Tale, because that road time was not measured.

Can I ask a question before I book?

Yes. Write to stayationa@gmail.com. If a WhatsApp button is on the page, that number is also monitored by Iona.

When is a good time to visit Albania?

The coast is busiest in the warmer months, and the mountains are easiest to reach in summer.

Late spring and early autumn are quieter on the beaches. Winter is cooler and wetter, and snow can close high trails. This page does not name a single best week.

What money should I bring?

The official currency is the lek (ALL), issued by the Bank of Albania. Euros are widely accepted in many places, especially tourist areas, hotels and restaurants. US dollars are accepted in some places, usually at the shop’s own exchange rate, and change is often given in lek. Paying in lek usually gets the better price.

Cards work in cities. Carry some cash for small places and the countryside. This site does not publish exchange rates.

Is Albania safe for visitors?

Use the same care you would in any European city, and read your own government's travel advice before you go.

Watch your bag, agree how you will pay for a taxi, and take mountain roads slowly. We do not publish crime statistics.

Can I book a stay on this website?

No. Reservations are only on Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia or Vrbo.

A Book on button is a real link only when a URL is filled in. Otherwise it says coming soon. Prices and availability are on the platform, not here.

Do you take long stays?

Yes, if the platform shows the dates as free.

This website does not publish weekly or monthly rates. Ask on the listing, or write to stayationa@gmail.com.
