The boulevard

Bulevardi Zogu I runs north from Skanderbeg Square. It is about 1.1 km, tree-lined, and was rebuilt with wide stone pavements of about 8 metres. Cafés, shops and services line the street. South of the square the same axis becomes Dëshmorët e Kombit Boulevard, past the Pyramid and Rinia Park toward Mother Teresa Square and the Grand Park.

The Stay at Iona apartment is on Bulevardi Zogu I. The building number is not published here, so the distances below are from Skanderbeg Square, where the boulevard starts, not from a confirmed door.

Walks from the square

Et'hem Bey Mosque and the Clock Tower are about 0.2 km south-east of the square. The New Bazaar (Pazari i Ri) is about 0.6 km east. Sky Tower is about 0.7 km south. Blloku, the café and restaurant quarter, is about 0.8 km south, roughly a 10 minute walk. Mother Teresa Square is about 1.2 km south. The Grand Park and the artificial lake are about 2.1 km south-east.

Photographs

Pictures on the Tirana house page are illustrative. Interiors are stock photographs, not the apartment. City photographs include Skanderbeg Square, the Clock Tower and Et'hem Bey area, a path in the Grand Park, a lake that is likely the artificial lake (the location was not tagged on the source photo), and an aerial view of the centre.

Dajti Mountain stands east of the city. A cable car runs to the ridge, and the view looks back over Tirana.
